Biography of  George Heman Crosby     Born Nov. 23, 1842, in Middle Haddam, Middlesex County, Conn. Left college during Sophomore year (Scientific Course). 1861-2, First Lieutenant in the 14th regiment, Connecticut Volunteers.  Mortally wounded Sept. 17, 1862, in the battle of Antietam.
