Biography of Truman Lampson of Pawlet, VT Pawlet (VT) One Hundred Years Hiel Hollister 1867  J. Munsell, Albany  LAMPSON, TRUMAN, from Rupert, settled near the Town farm.  He was a gunsmith, and as a marksman, was unrivaled.  Dignified and gentlemanly in his deportment, he won the admiration and esteem of numerous friends.  He was an ingenious mechanic and inventor.  He now resides in Bennington.
