J. Munsell, AlbanyBEALL, Rev. ISAAC, from Clarendon, 1800, was the first settled pastor of the First Baptist church, which position he held until 1831. He was a man of great shrewdness and strong intellect, which compensated, in part, for deficiencies in his early education. He was a gentleman of the old school, courteous and affable in his deportment. He built up a thriving church which numbered, at one time, 150 members. The large house in which they worshiped was wont to be well filled. He died in Clarendon in 1833, aged 82; his wife did not long survive.
