Thomas Bellows
  

THOMAS BELLOWS was borne in Walpole, N. H., September 23, 1807.  His father, the late Thomas Bellows, Esq., was for many years, Sheriff of Cheshire Co.  Mr. Bellows was prepared for college at Phillips Exeter Academy; entered the Freshman Class, at Cambridge, in 1823; remained on term, and then joined the Freshman Class at Hanover.  After graduating, he studied theology, two years, at Andover, and one year, at New Haven.  In March 1833, he was ordained pastor of the Second Congregational Church, in Greenfield, Mass.; he was dismissed, on account of ill-health, in September, 1834, and has since resided in Walpole, on the farm formerly occupied by his father.

Mr. Bellows represented his native town, in the State Legislature, during the year 1851.
